I stayed at La Serene for 3 days and i'd like to share my experience here. The resort is located in a bit of a remote location far from Munnar. The approach road to the resort isn't very wide or well constructed. The road has a lot of steep ups and downs. It takes around an hour to reach Munnar from here. Nearest town (Rajakkad) is 5 kms away. Rajakkad has basic amenities likes hotels, hospitals, grocery stores and fuel stations. Regarding the resort, the rooms are good, well designed and spacious. The view from the resort is really beautiful. We had issues with the hot water supply for all 3 days of our stay. The hot water supply was intermittent and not regular. There was also some power fluctuation issues some times which they fixed. Breakfast was complimentary and good. Not a lot of varities but simple and sufficient. Lunch and Dinner are made only upon pre orders and are quite a bit expensive. Taste was okay. The staff were friendly and attentive. The gym and games room they have are not maintained properly. When we went to see, there were very little gym equipments and everything was scattered on the floor and things were cluttered in the games room. Both the gym and games share the same room and were in a bad state. We loved our stay at La Serene but, some things have to be improved.

Group • Jun 2026We stayed two nights at Le Serene Resorts Munnar. It was a wonderful stay; the cottages are beautiful and very well maintained. The food was excellent, and our child enjoyed the children's park. The swimming pool was very neat and clean. We enjoyed ourselves greatly. Thanks to the entire team.
