Misty Hills Cabins

The cottages are located a bit far from the lake but are nicely designed. However, there are problems with hot water and heating. The staff is inconsistent; they assist when possible but sometimes ignore requests. I reported the hot water problem, but no one came to fix it. The food is served buffet style with many options, but the taste is lacking. There is plenty of food, but the quality is not good.

I just wish the property was closer to the lake, but everything else was nice. Tejasvi was very helpful, guiding us through astronomy and making stargazing more enjoyable. Overall, it was a good experience.

We spent one night at Misty Hills on July 26. It was an excellent experience at Pangong, with outstanding service and hospitality that made it feel less like a remote place. The food was delicious and offered a wide variety. They also provide a telescope for stargazing. Dorjey from their staff kindly arranged a cab for us at the best rates, with Mr. Sonam Tashi as our driver. He is a local with over 20 years of experience in the area and made our journey very smooth. I gladly recommend both the hotel and the driver.

Our stay at the hotel was fantastic. The rooms were spotless, cozy, and well kept, and the staff consistently showed politeness and helpfulness. The hospitality throughout made our visit very pleasant. We especially want to thank Mr. Sanju for his outstanding assistance, kindness, and professionalism. He truly exceeded expectations to ensure our stay was comfortable and unforgettable. His friendly demeanor and top-notch service are greatly valued. We highly recommend this hotel and are eager to return!

Guests often appreciate the evening bonfires and stargazing, which create a magical atmosphere in the high-altitude environment. The food is simple but flavorful, given the remote setting. Although the facilities are basic and internet access may be limited, this is part of the authentic Pangong experience. Overall, it’s an excellent option for travelers seeking comfort, natural beauty, and true Ladakhi hospitality.
