Moustache Select Mohanchatti, Rishikesh

The experience was truly enjoyable, with Sheetal providing excellent service at the restaurant and the food being fantastic. I would suggest staying here if you are visiting Rishikesh.

Outstanding hotel

We stayed at Moustache Select Rishikesh (Mohanchatti) for 2 days and overall had a good and relaxing experience.We stayed in the Quadruple Room, which was actually two rooms connected internally. The rooms were very spacious, comfortable, and perfect for a family or group of friends. Having two connected rooms gave us plenty of space while still keeping everyone together.One of the biggest highlights of the property is that the river is very close to the resort. We really enjoyed walking down to the river and taking a bath in the river. It was a wonderful experience, and the views around the river and the resort were beautiful. The natural surroundings make the stay feel peaceful and refreshing.The swimming pool was also very good and added to the overall experience. The resort has a peaceful atmosphere and is a nice place to relax and spend quality time away from the city.👍 What We Liked- Very spacious Quadruple Room with two internally connected rooms- Comfortable and suitable for families/groups- River is very close to the property- Enjoyed taking a bath in the river- Beautiful views and natural surroundings- Good swimming pool- Peaceful atmosphere- Overall a good place for a 2-day getaway👎 Areas That Need ImprovementThe biggest issue is accessibility. The road leading to the resort is in very poor condition, especially around the bridge and near the resort. In some stretches, it hardly feels like there is a proper solid road at all. Reaching the resort can be quite difficult, particularly for cars.I would strongly recommend reaching the resort during daylight and avoiding travelling here in the evening or at night. The poor road conditions, especially around the bridge and the final stretch towards the resort, can make the journey quite difficult and uncomfortable after dark. If you are planning to stay here, it is better to plan your journey and reach well before sunset.The food options are also quite limited. Since there is no other food options available nearby, guests are largely dependent on the resort for meals. Unfortunately, the food prices felt quite high compared with the quality and variety offered. A better menu with more variety and more reasonable pricing would significantly improve the overall experience.OverallDespite the road and food-related issues, we had a good stay and genuinely enjoyed our time at the resort. The spacious rooms, swimming pool, peaceful surroundings, close proximity to the river, and beautiful views make it a nice option for a quiet getaway.The river experience was definitely one of the highlights of our stay, and we really enjoyed spending time there.However, future guests should be aware of the very poor approach road, particularly the stretch near the bridge and the resort, and should ideally avoid reaching the property after dark. Also, keep in mind that food choices nearby are very limited, so you will mostly depend on the resort for meals.If the road accessibility, food quality, variety, and pricing are improved, this property could offer an even better overall experience.
