Guest as saying

I stayed here for one night and asked for dinner to be delivered to my room, even offering a tip in advance. However, the reception refused, saying the staff were busy since it was Sunday, and told me to come to the dining area before 10pm. We arrived by 9:45pm and saw that the rice section, which had plain rice and ghee rice, was empty. I waited for a refill, but as soon as it was refilled, another guest took the entire container of rice with the help of a staff member and took it to their room, leaving us waiting for another refill. This wait for rice lasted about 15-20 minutes. When I raised this with the manager, he just said "wait for some more time" and left without apologizing. After repeatedly questioning him, Boppanna (the manager) responded with, "mistake has happened so what?" Meanwhile, his colleagues laughed behind us during the conversation. I do not recommend this place due to their very rude behavior.

This was undoubtedly the worst hospitality experience I've ever encountered. The staff showed us complete disrespect throughout our stay. Because of heavy rain, we asked for room service for dinner but were flatly refused. Then we inquired if we could order from the à la carte menu instead, and that was denied as well. What made it even more frustrating was when we went to the restaurant ourselves, we saw staff packing food and delivering it to other guests' rooms. When we asked why this service was available to others but not to us, a staff member just laughed at us. The lack of professionalism was shocking. The manager, Mr. Bopanna, handled things even worse. Instead of addressing our concerns or trying to fix the issue, his attitude was basically, "If you want to eat, eat. Otherwise, leave." When we said we would check out because of how we were treated, they weren't even willing to process our checkout quickly. To make things worse, a staff member recorded videos of us without our permission during the incident. Even though the property has CCTV cameras, the manager refused to question the staff or investigate why this happened. When we asked who we could escalate the complaint to, we were told there was "nobody" to complain to. That response says a lot about how they handle guest issues. The poor service continued until the end. Even though we tipped the staff during our stay, when we checked out, no one offered to help with our luggage. Three staff members stood watching but did nothing. This property completely failed to meet even basic standards of hospitality, professionalism, and guest respect. I've attached photos to back up my experience. I strongly advise anyone thinking of staying here to reconsider. If you can't properly train your managers and staff in basic hospitality and guest service, you shouldn't charge premium prices. Guests pay for a pleasant and memorable experience—we pay for a service, not a favor. Your staff acted as if they owned the place, and Mr. Bopanna was especially disrespectful. His attitude made us feel like we were eating from his own pocket instead of paying guests who spent a lot to stay at your resort. Such behavior is unacceptable in hospitality. Please ensure your staff and managers are trained to treat guests with courtesy, professionalism, and respect. Hospitality isn't just about the property; it's about how guests feel, and your team failed completely. Given how we were treated, I expect a full refund for this terrible experience. Instead of resolving the issue, Mr. Bopanna basically forced us to leave the resort in the middle of the night. No guest should ever feel unwelcome or be put in such a situation. I plan to file a formal complaint with the relevant authorities and consumer forums. No resort has the right to treat paying guests like this. I sincerely hope your management takes this seriously so no other guest has to endure what we did.

Unsafe and Hostile Stay

2.0

We spent about ₹45k for two rooms over two nights, expecting a high-quality experience. Instead, we encountered unfriendly staff, regional discrimination, and safety issues that made us leave early. At 9:30 PM, we ordered dal and sabzi to our room. When we requested a spoon, the staff spoke condescendingly over the phone, telling me to "eat with my hands," clearly showing bias against me as a North Indian guest. After arguing on the phone, a spoon was finally brought. When we raised the issue with the reception manager, he dismissed our concerns casually ("What's the problem? You got the spoon"). Shortly after, 5–6 staff members surrounded us and confronted us aggressively. Since the hotel is isolated in a forest, being cornered by hostile staff felt very unsafe. We had to check out immediately and lose our prepaid second night just to feel safe. Paying 4-star prices for a remote place should guarantee security and respect, not intimidation by a group. Avoid staying here if you care about your safety.

Peaceful Friendly Retreat

An ideal escape from the city. Suitable for guests who prefer to stay inside rather than go out. The staff were friendly and hospitable. The spa and food and beverage services were excellent.
