Palolem Casa

We spent 4 nights there and had a wonderful experience. The owner and staff were very helpful, and the rooms and bathrooms were clean and well kept. We really enjoyed the room and the atmosphere of the place.

No Food facility, not even drinking water facilty in need,

Nice location with tidy rooms

Goa is famous for its warm hospitality and wonderful experiences, which most hotels here deliver—except Palolem Casa, which is a disappointing exception. If you want to pay high prices to spend the last, eagerly awaited day of your trip stuck in a dark room for five hours, covered in itchy beach sand, with no electricity or running water, this is the place for you. When their turbo water pump broke down, it became obvious that this "luxury" property runs on the level of a roadside shack. Equipment fails, and any sensible person can handle an hour of inconvenience. But expecting guests to endure five hours without any backup plan is outright negligence. The real ordeal started when we tried to reach the 4 or 5 "owners" supposedly managing this place. It turned into a frustrating game of phone tag that felt like mental harassment. We left 50 to 60 missed calls. When someone finally answered, they just passed us to another number, then blocked or ignored us. When we politely requested a refund to leave quietly, check into a better hotel, and save our last day, we were met with rudeness and hostility. Their message was clear: we have your money, so you can stay in the dark and dirty. To the ground staff: thank you for being friendly and trying to find even a bucket of water so we could wash the sand off. You are the only decent people there. To the authorities and owners reading this: don't waste time with your usual defensive denials. Check the reviews from my friends who suffered this nightmare with me. You can't gaslight all of us or deny the clear evidence of your failure. You ruined a day we planned for a year and caused us unnecessary mental distress. Consider this a strict warning: never repeat this negligent behavior with any guest. Learn to run a business, invest in basic backups, and answer the phone like adults. Absolutely appalling.

Extremely disappointing stay. We had no water or electricity for nearly 4 hours and waited a long time without adequate help. When we asked for a refund and to leave, the owner made excuses and avoided fixing the problem. They also didn't answer our calls. The service was very poor and unprofessional. I would not suggest this place.
