We recently stayed at the majestic Pilibhit House in Haridwar. The property is located on the Ganges and provided us with a very comfortable and unforgettable experience. Pilibhit House in Haridwar is a stunning place where every detail seems carefully planned. Evenings start with a peaceful Bhajan Sandhya followed by the sacred Ganga Aarti, offering a memorable spiritual moment. Dinner is enhanced by the gentle tunes of live piano music, and mornings greet you with the soothing sound of a flute, creating an ideal start to the day. One of the best aspects of staying here is the easy access to bathe in the holy Ganges whenever you like. The blend of enduring traditions, tranquil environment, and outstanding hospitality makes this a spot you'll want to visit repeatedly.

I stayed here with my family for three nights. The hotel features a private ghat, ideal for those wanting to spend time by the Ganga and take a dip once or multiple times a day. They offer live music and aarti in the evenings. The property is small, with 35 rooms, and includes basic amenities like restaurants, a gym, a play area, a swimming pool, and a spa. We booked a Deluxe Ganga-facing room, but since it was on the lower ground floor, the view was blocked by a fence, so we had to step outside to see the river. The room was large, spacious, well-maintained, and equipped with modern facilities. However, the service did not meet expectations. Despite charging luxury prices, the hospitality was lacking. I had a ten-month-old baby, and the chef struggled to follow simple instructions for his meals, forcing me to find alternative food multiple times. Our food was delayed, and when we raised this with the manager, he responded by showing us the KOT instead of addressing the issue. While junior staff were acceptable, the warmth expected at a premium hotel was missing. The team seemed either understaffed or poorly trained. The food quality was inconsistent. Good hospitality is the minimum expected at a Taj property, but Pilibhit House fell short. Overall, the stay was disappointing and not worth the price charged.

We sincerely thank the entire Pilibhit House team in Haridwar for making our 40th Wedding Anniversary an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed with warmth, care, and a profound spiritual atmosphere. Taking a sacred dip in Maa Ganga at the hotel's peaceful private ghat, performing the Navagraha Pooja, and joining the divine evening Ganga Aarti were truly enriching moments that added great meaning to our celebration. Every staff member went out of their way to make us feel special. Their humility, kindness, and genuine care deeply moved us. Whether it was the warm spiritual greeting, the delicious made-to-order breakfasts and dinners, the thoughtful anniversary celebration, or the heartfelt farewell at checkout, every moment showed outstanding hospitality and sincere service. Our two-night stay was more than just a hotel visit—it was a beautiful spiritual journey filled with treasured memories, love, and blessings. We left with full hearts and many unforgettable moments. If Maa Ganga continues to call us, we hope to return to this heavenly retreat again and again. True luxury at its finest; I believe this is the top luxury choice in Haridwar. They have considered convenience in every detail. We stayed with our grandparents, and thanks to their thoughtful setup, they were able to take their holy dip at the private ghat. Highly recommended. Every department, including food and beverage and housekeeping, is excellent. Overall, a pleasant stay.
