Praia Da Oura

We spent four nights here with friends and had a wonderful experience! The room was spotless, roomy, and very comfortable. The bed was snug with fresh sheets. The staff was welcoming and always willing to assist. Breakfast offered a variety of delicious choices. The front desk staff made the check-in process quick and simple. The Indian cuisine was delicious. Restaurants within walking distance featured live music in the evenings. From my room 308, I enjoyed a beautiful sunset; the sea is nearby but not directly visible due to natural surroundings. The reception team helped arrange sightseeing, and the taxi driver was courteous, taking us to the best local eateries. The property manager also set up a fantastic seafood BBQ by the pool. The pool was the highlight of our stay—clean and excellent. The location is ideal and near the beach. I highly recommend this place and plan to return. Excellent value for the price!

Praia Da Oura is situated in a very remote location. The rooms seemed overdue for renovations. The toilet flush kept running continuously. The bed was terrible; when I woke up, I had back spasms and body aches. The hallway was too dark for a hotel with such a high rating. The service was average. The ginger tea I ordered came with rose water but no ginger at all. The Aloo Parathas were spicy despite my request for no spice for my toddler. Thankfully, they did not charge for the Aloo Parathas and instead brought nearly raw rice for the toddler. The chicken fried rice I ordered for the room arrived very late and without any chicken. I gave some clothes for laundry, and they damaged a pair of pants. It was a bad experience. Although we booked for three nights, we checked out on the second day. Overall, the property did not live up to our expectations. I hope the management improves the hotel and maintains cleanliness.

Lovely property and wonderful family, we truly enjoyed our 6-day stay there. The pool was clean and it was within walking distance to the beach. Definitely choose this place for an amazing experience.

The rooms and location are nice, but the service is nearly nonexistent. It's odd that the owner has created a good property yet doesn't seem to prioritize guest experience, as there is no staff available. Even simple requests like arranging a cab or getting water require a lot of effort.

This resort truly feels like a second home! What makes it special is the wonderful family who runs it. Staying here felt like reconnecting with family we never knew we had, a family eagerly waiting for us, making our visit unforgettable. Our children keep asking when we will return to Goa. Anthea and her parents, who manage this charming boutique resort, go above and beyond to make guests feel comfortable and loved, inspiring us to visit Goa more often. This boutique hotel rivals any 5-star property in Goa. Their swimming pool is the cleanest I've seen in the area. It's just a 5-minute walk to Majorda beach. Breakfast is fantastic, with the owners present at 8:30 am, ensuring everyone's preferences are met. The kids loved the pancakes, idlis, and the endless chocolates Anthea generously shared. My boys felt like they found a sister in Anthea and miss her warm hospitality. Additionally, the family kindly invited us to tour their ancestral home in a nearby village, an experience we will treasure forever—a visit to a heritage site in South Goa that made us feel truly blessed. Thank you so much, Anthea and family. The hosts and the excellent staff go the extra mile to make your holiday unforgettable. Whenever I'm in Goa, Praia Da Oura will be my place to stay.
