The only disappointing part of an otherwise exceptional stay was the behaviour of the reception staff.Unfortunately, the reception team was extremely rude and dismissive. Their tone lacked basic courtesy, and there was an attitude in almost every word they uttered. For a hotel of this standard, the front desk should be the place where guests are welcomed and treated with warmth and respect, but our experience was quite the opposite.What was particularly disappointing was being told, *“Whatever Agoda’s policies are, I don’t care. My concern is what I received at my end.”* As a customer, I genuinely fail to understand this approach. How are customers supposed to know what is happening in the backend between the hotel and a third-party booking platform? Whether a booking is made through Agoda or any other platform, a customer can only rely on the confirmation and information received at their end.If there is any discrepancy between the hotel and the third-party platform, it should be resolved professionally between the concerned parties. Customers cannot be expected to understand or take responsibility for backend processes they have no visibility into. Even when there is a genuine issue, it can and should be communicated politely and respectfully.This was especially unfortunate because **everything else about the hotel was exceptional**. The property, cleanliness, ambience, rooms, food, and overall service were truly excellent, and we had a wonderful stay otherwise.It is a beautiful property with so much to offer, but the attitude and communication at reception definitely need improvement. I sincerely hope the management takes this feedback seriously and provides the front desk team with better training in politeness, empathy, and professional guest interaction. An otherwise excellent hotel should not have its reputation affected by the way guests are treated at reception.
with the price i paid i would have got far more better resorts, for house keeping we need to ask every item every time they dont keep the items by default.no lunch or dinner buffet but the a la cart service is good and tasty items
