Lemon Tree Amarante Beach Resort, Goa, is officially listed as a 4-star property, but my experience did not match that standard. The Agoda photos are misleading: only the reception area reflects the images, while much of the rest of the property appeared to be under renovation and was inaccessible.The room itself was clean and included a small balcony, but the balcony door lock was broken and mosquitoes made the space effectively unusable. The buffet dinner was also disappointing—there was no chicken starter for non-vegetarians, the dal was watery, and the overall value felt poor at around 1,200. Even if the buffet is included with the booking I would avoid it, as several better dining options are within a five-minute walk.The saving grace was the service: staff members such as Jonathan and Seby were friendly and tried hard to compensate for the limited menu. The à-la-carte options may be better, though I did not try them.With numerous better hotels nearby, I would recommend considering alternatives rather than booking this resort.
I had an excellent stay here! The rooms were spotless, cozy, and well-kept, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was very pleasant and calming. What really impressed me was the service. The staff were extremely friendly, supportive, and attentive during our entire visit. Special thanks to Kaushik from the dining team, who delivered outstanding service and was always courteous, attentive, and helpful. He truly enhanced our dining experience. The location is also convenient, with the beach and local market both just a short walk away, making it easy to explore the surroundings. Overall, the fantastic staff and their service made the stay unforgettable. I would definitely suggest this place to anyone seeking a comfortable stay with excellent food, a charming ambiance, and genuinely great hospitality.

Group • Sep 2026Very nice stay for 2 days, staff were extremely helpful and friendly, bigger swimming pool is under renovation, kids pool is active. Breakfast and dinner was excellent.
