My stay at this hotel was quite disappointing and did not meet my expectations, especially considering that I paid 10,880 for two nights.The hotel is located in a residential area, and the parking area is quite limited and congested. I booked the hotel through Agoda for 13th to 15th September 2026. At the time of booking, the room-view details were not clearly mentioned on the Agoda listing. However, at check-in, I was allotted a backside room.As it was the off-season in Goa, I requested the reception staff to provide a pool-view room, if available. Instead of trying to accommodate the request, the reception staff simply informed me that I would have to pay an additional 2,000 for an upgrade. Since my family was uncomfortable with the backside room, I had no practical choice but to pay the additional amount.What was most disappointing was the lack of cooperation and customer service at reception. After paying 10,880 for the stay, I expected at least a reasonable level of hospitality and assistance.The rooms are also very small and have only basic amenities. Overall, the experience did not justify the amount paid.I would not recommend this hotel based on my experience, and I personally would not choose to stay here again. The hotel management should seriously improve its reception service, transparency regarding room categories/views, and overall guest experience.

Our stay at Fairfield by Marriott Goa for our baby's first birthday was very disappointing and far from the Marriott standard we anticipated. The room was damp and uncomfortable despite running the AC and fan continuously. When we reported this, we were told it was normal and all rooms were like that, and we couldn't open the balcony. We asked repeatedly for a room change or upgrade due to our crawling baby, but were told every room had the same issue. Our request for a refund was also denied, leaving us no choice but to stay. Service was slow, with long waits for simple food orders, which was difficult with a young child. Additionally, hotel benefits and discounts were inconsistently communicated and changed at redemption, causing frustration. Most upsetting was how our concerns were dismissed rather than addressed, especially during such a special trip. Having visited Goa multiple times and stayed in various hotels, this was the worst experience in terms of room condition, service, and guest care. We will not return and cannot recommend this hotel to families with young children. I hope management seriously reviews room conditions, complaint handling, service quality, and benefit communication.
