The Fern Habitat Goa, Candolim, Series by Marriott

Asika and Ansumi provide excellent service and outstanding hospitality.

My experience at this hotel was average. The rooms were decent and clean, but there was a leak in the kitchenette tap that caused water to spill on the floor when I used it. The biggest issue was with the taxi stand in the basement; they never let any other vehicles enter the hotel, so even with heavy luggage, you have to walk 400-500 meters to the main road, and the staff there were very rude. The hotel seems to have no control over them. Overall, the experience was below the standard I expect from a Marriott Bonvoy hotel. The breakfast was average, with the same cakes and breads that become hard after two days, causing indigestion. There weren't many options available. I've stayed at many other hotels where I got better breakfast for the same price. I felt frustrated, especially when leaving, as there was an argument with the taxi stand people and the hotel staff showed no interest in resolving it. The treatment was poor and not what I expect from a Marriott hotel. It felt like the hotel was run by the taxi stand people rather than Marriott. These people don't have any official taxi stand signs or IDs, and they are always surrounded by groups of 5-8 people asking you for a cab, making it feel like a budget lodge. I recommend avoiding this hotel and choosing a roadside hotel where you won't have to walk so far.

The staff, Kaberi and Asika, are very nice and friendly, making the morning feel refreshing.

The breakfast was excellent. Ms. Kaveri attended to us very well, thank you.
