SANKAMA The Boutique Hotel

I travelled Bangalore-Goa with my 1 Kid & 1 Toddler. I cant stretch 10-11 hrs car trip at one go. So I planned to stay in-between center spot from Blr-Goa. I selected SANKAMA at Davanagere based on reviews,I had a very good & Smooth experience with Sankama Hotel. From Check-in to Check-out, breakfast, In-room Dining, Room services are all top quality service by Sankama. If your planning Solo, Friends, Mainly for families with toddlers or kids - I Highly recommend this hotel. Located in very near to NH road towards hubbali (I travelled from Bangalore)

Stayed at Sankama Boutique Hotel, Davangere for an overnight stay and it was a totally amazing experience. The service was excellent and the stay was very comfortable. The staff is extremely helpful and courteous. Special mention to Mr. Raju at the front desk ’ a very down-to-earth and polite person who helped us with everything we needed and made our stay smooth.The highlight of this hotel is definitely the morning breakfast ’ absolutely delicious! The idli, wada, sambar, and poha were all superb, and the buttermilk at the end was the cherry on the cake. ’’The hotel is also conveniently close to the highway, which makes it perfect for a stopover. Overall, a pleasant, comfortable stay with great hospitality. Highly recommended! ’’

A decent place, located near the prominent Shamnur Road of Davangere. Easily accessible from the Bangalore’Goa route, it is a good place to stay with clean rooms. The dining area is upstairs. So, if you are travelling from Bangalore and want a brief halt, this is a good place to stay for the night.It is a boutique hotel, so you can expect some eclectic elements’antique pieces, sketches on the walls, etc.The food was decent. A bar is also attached. There was quite a bit of crowd, with both locals and travellers at the restaurant upstairs. The vegetarian food that we had was decent, with not much oil.The staff were courteous and even accommodated our request for an extra bed and blanket.To sum up, good for an overnight stay. Decent, not luxurious.
