Solglow Resort - Kainchi Dham

We left the hotel at 11:00 PM due to the owner's conduct. Someone was very rude to a resort staff member, and we intervened to support and defend the staff. Rather than addressing the actual troublemakers, the owner chose to disrespect us. Being forced to leave late at night because of such unprofessionalism was awful. It was upsetting to witness the staff treated poorly and even worse to be disrespected for defending them. Overall, the stay was very disappointing and one of our worst experiences.

During our stay at Sol Glow Resort, we saw a large group of about 30–35 people repeatedly mistreating a staff member, who seemed on the verge of tears. We politely asked the group to stop treating him that way. Instead of appreciating our support for his staff, the hotel owner confronted us, asking why we were interfering. This reaction shocked us, and due to the owner's attitude, we left the hotel at 11 PM that night. We can tolerate many things, but never disrespect. Regardless of the hotel's size, an owner should be humble, respectful, and grounded. Most importantly, staff should be treated like family, and when someone disrespects them, the owner should support the staff rather than question guests trying to help. For us, hospitality is about kindness, respect, and how people are treated, not just the property or rooms. Sadly, that was lacking in our experience.
