Nice for family stay. Food was really awesome. My kid enjoyed the food as it was less spicy. Room and view could have been better for the price offered. Staff all are helpful, kind and well mannered.

Pros- service staff/ housekeeping are wonderful and attended promptly to all our requests.- good quality shower gel, shampoo and Hand-wash in the rooms- comfortable beds. Had booked a room that mentioned queen size beds however we actually got king sized bed.- good breakfast spread with south indian, north indian and continental dishes.- location-wise almost equidistant from om/kudle beaches and town/temple area- peaceful atmosphere- hotel can provide contacts of auto or taxi driversCons- major safety hazard: pool has a granite stone border that is super slippery and dangerous as one may slip and fall into the pool (as it happened with one of our group) or worse, slip and injure themselves on the granite/pool edge. This could have been easily addressed by placing non slip rubber mats on the granite border. Surprising that this basic pool safety 101 has been missed even though stonewood operates multiple hotels.- all outdoor activities such as zipline, trampoline, archery etc are closed during off season. The only indoor activities available are carrom, chess and table tennis that can be played by 8 people max. For the price charged, atleast more indoor activities could have been provided.- few basics are lacking, e.g. tissue box in the room, a clothes drying rack (which is common in gokarna even in cheaper homestays given the rainy weather and beach), shelf space in the shower cubicle to keep toiletries, indoor disposable slippers, etc.- during majority of our stay there was a strong sewage smell near our rooms so it was not possible to sit out on the patioNote that the property is not suitable for those who are mobility impaired as there are several stairs between rooms/cafe, reception and car pick/drop areas.
