Svenska Design Hotel Kakinada

After paying 5300 plus per day, When we book a room, pl allow the wife and kids to stay. It's horrible experience if you reject the wife and kids to stay with the man. We are Indian people, we move with families. Otherwise it's greedy from your part. Your staff rejected milk for my kid in the break fast though. This is not a good experience. We came for marriage arrangements and we hardly stayed there despite of having house locally..

I dined at Hotel Svenska in Kakinada and had a wonderful experience. The food was excellent, particularly the Chicken Pulav, which was full of flavor and very tasty. The service was top-notch, with polite and attentive staff. I want to especially thank Mr. Kumar for his friendly and helpful assistance. Overall, it was a great visit. Although the food might seem a bit pricey, it is justified by the quality and the hotel's ambiance. I would certainly recommend Hotel Svenska for delicious food and outstanding service!

I arrived around noon, drove my car to the entrance which was mostly closed with only a narrow space left. I honked several times but no one responded. I had to park my car far away since all the taxi spots were taken. I pulled my luggage and walked inside, but still no staff to assist with luggage or direct me to the front office. I had to go to reception myself to check in. There were no bellboys or anyone to help with my bags. After carrying my luggage a long way inside, I asked about parking and was told it was behind but quite far, and no one came to guide me. After these frustrating experiences, I checked in, left for work, and returned after dark. When I took my car to the parking area, there was no lighting and some outsiders drinking alcohol. I couldn't find the entrance because it was too dark. I walked back to the front office and brought the manager to the back. He said the gate was there but it was locked with a chain and padlock. He called someone to open it and then a single lamp was lit. The service was terrible—no bellboys, no security at the gates, no staff to assist new arrivals, and no valet parking. We will reconsider our business partnerships.

Don't be misled by the name - this is the only 5-star hotel in Kakinada, but it feels more like less than 3 stars. The service is very bad. There are flies around the food in the breakfast area. It's very overpriced considering the facilities and service offered. Definitely not recommended.
