Best resort in manali with perfect loaction and services
After finishing our Spiti circuit, we arrived in Manali and stayed at Allure Grand, which turned out to be one of the best choices of our trip. This hotel stands out as one of the nicer options in the area and was a perfect spot to unwind after a long journey. The rooms were clean, spacious, and well-kept, with 24-hour hot water that was very welcome after returning from the mountains. Situated right by the river, the hotel offers beautiful views and a riverside deck where you can enjoy your meals, creating a very pleasant atmosphere. The property looks especially charming in the evening when all the lights are on. They also provide complimentary high tea with tea and snacks from around 4 PM to 6 PM in the restaurant. Although we missed it due to being out, other guests mentioned that tea and pakoras were served. The food was definitely a highlight of our stay. We had booked a room with dinner included, and even though we were the only guests with the dinner package that night, the hotel went above and beyond to offer us the full buffet variety. They served an impressive spread including soup, starters, pasta, main courses, breads, and desserts, essentially a full five-course meal with anything from the menu. This level of service was something we hadn’t experienced at any other hotel during our trip. The food was truly delicious, and the management’s effort to maintain the same experience despite having just one dinner guest was very impressive. The mushroom and cheese pasta was especially good. Breakfast the next morning was just as impressive, with a great selection and tasty dishes. We did encounter a couple of minor issues: the AC in our room was quite noisy, and since we were out late, the staff couldn’t check it during our stay, so we had to tolerate the noise at night. Also, the flush kept running after use and had to be pressed again to stop the water, which should be fixed to prevent water wastage. The hotel is a bit away from Mall Road, but they are happy to arrange a taxi if needed. We took a taxi back from Mall Road to the hotel for ₹300. Overall, our stay at Allure Grand was excellent. The lovely riverside location, clean rooms, great service, and especially the food made it a fantastic place to conclude our Spiti trip. The effort they put into our dinner was particularly memorable and truly felt like five-star hospitality.
