The Exotica Grand

we, group of 8 family stayed in 4 rooms , had no issues, check in early hours of the morning without delays, appreciative as we had long hours flights. Breakfast choices could be better for international guests, that on offer was awesome, the tea was tops, acceptable dinner choices menu though. Cannot complain about the location as we travelled out daily, service and communication between all staff was awesome. My only complaint is the open plan shower, I hate stepping on wet bathroom floors, that was at most hotels we stayed over 20 days in various cities.

We stayed at this hotel a total of 6 nights during our tour. It is a basic hotel and we found that rooms were very different. The first room was a bit worn down, and then when we came back we got a room that was updated. Staff were good but little English. Food was good: we ordered room service most nights there and breakfast was good too.Just around the corner was a little market with sweet shop, pharmacy, street food etcWe could refill water there.

The hotel is situated approx 500 meters from the Patel Nagar Metro station. Easily approachable by taxi and metro, some 40 minutes away from the airport. I came here to conduct a training program of around 35 people. Got a good conference hall and tasty food. However among different halls available there I found only one to be suitable for a conference. Staff behaviour was very courteous and service oriented. Rooms were large and average. Overall, I had a good experience.

The worst experience. In just 2 days there were so many issues1. There were cockroaches near the food. Then i saw cockroaches near tables and chairs and showed the manager2,. No tap water, no shower water , no toolet water from 10pm to 2 pm. They kept on telling that the water will be available in 5 to 15 mons3. Telephone was not working4. Night shoft manager found reasons to harrass and though we payed for a triple room he rang to argue that we paid for double. In the end ot ended up bring an incorrect communication within their own team. This was accepted as their own mistake after i had to ring around various places.5. The night manager also questioned and made issues abt simple issue about other room bookings.Would not use this hotel again. Would not eat in their kitchenThe worst part was they were not ready to accept their mistake and apologise despite the mistske being theirs.

I had the pleasure of staying in Hotel Exotica for a couple of days recently. I found the staff Ajay and Pankaj extremely helpful and courteous especially Mr Arun Sarkar. The event went off smoothly without a hitch. The Food was top class, delicious and sumptuous. They could do better if they did something to lift up the ambience of the restaurant to a slightly higher and brighter levels. Their rooms were big, well appointed and clean. Strongly recommend this hotel for a budget friendly, clean stay.
