The Forest Hill Hotel

A very pleasant stay with a great atmosphere and positive energy

My wife, our 3-year-old son, and I had a pleasant and comfortable stay at The Forest Hill. We reserved a premium room with a view of the hill. The hotel's location is ideal, easily accessible from the railway station and bus stand. There is plenty of parking available, making it convenient to reach by car as well. The food was excellent, and the service was truly five-star quality. The meals were so enjoyable that we chose to dine at the hotel restaurant for all our meals. I highly recommend this wonderful hotel.

For my Point of View and Experience this Hotel is Best near about Haridwar Railway station. Room is neat and clean, staff behaviour is good. Hotel reception staff are coperative and assist guest very well. hotel restaurant is also good. Not to much expensive Normal and affordable rates. Over all I am giving 4.5 start... 👍🙏

*** NRI review - (visiting from US/California): ***We stayed at The Forest Hill Hotel during our visit to Haridwar. The hotel itself was a pleasant experience. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, the staff was courteous and always willing to help, and the food was tasty with good service throughout our stay.However, there is one important point that future travelers should be aware of, especially if visiting during peak pilgrimage or holiday seasons. Due to heavy crowds, the local police set up barricades approximately half a kilometer before the hotel and do not allow private out-of-station vehicles beyond that point, even if you have a confirmed hotel reservation. This is done to reduce traffic congestion in the busy areas, so it is not the hotel's fault.Because of these restrictions, we had to leave our car at the barricades and take an e-rickshaw to reach the hotel with our luggage. The next day, we faced another challenge’Uber and Ola drivers were reluctant to come to this area because of the traffic restrictions. After waiting for about 30 minutes without success, we contacted the hotel reception. The staff responded promptly and kindly arranged an e-rickshaw for us, which helped us reach one of the ghats.Overall, I have no complaints about the hotel itself. The rooms, food, cleanliness, and hospitality were all very good. However, if you are planning to stay here during peak visitor periods, be prepared for transportation challenges caused by the hotel's location and local traffic restrictions. If convenience of reaching your hotel is a priority during busy seasons, you may want to consider staying in an area with easier vehicle access.
