The Golden Suites & Spa Calangute Hotel

I had a very disappointing experience with a hotel booked through Agoda. The pictures shown online were completely different from the actual property. When I reached the hotel around 9 PM with my wife, the situation was shocking.The corridor was dirty and smelled badly, the lift was not working, and the staff behavior was unprofessional. The room was unhygienic with dust everywhere, torn towels, dirty bathroom fixtures, and even bedbugs on the bed. The worst part was finding a used condom in the dustbin, which was completely unacceptable.Due to these unhygienic and unsafe conditions, I immediately left the hotel without staying there. I also have video proof of the property condition. I expected better verification and customer safety from Agoda. Very disappointed with this experience and still waiting for a proper resolution and refund.

Very disappointing experience with this booking through Agoda. The hotel shown online looked clean and professional, but the actual condition of the property was completely different.The hotel premises were dirty, the corridor smelled badly, and the lift was not working. The staff was unprofessional and not helpful at all. When I entered the room, it was extremely unhygienic ’ dust everywhere, dirty bathroom fixtures, torn towels, and even a used condom in the dustbin. I also noticed signs of bedbugs on the bed, which was absolutely unacceptable.Because of these terrible conditions, I left the hotel immediately and did not stay there at all. I am very disappointed that Agoda listed such a poorly maintained property without proper quality checks. This experience completely ruined my stay expectations.I would not recommend this hotel or booking experience to anyone until proper hygiene and service standards are maintained.

Booking this hotel through Agoda was very disappointing. The online photos made the hotel look clean and professional, but the reality was quite the opposite. The hotel was dirty, the hallway had a bad smell, and the elevator was out of order. The staff were unprofessional and unhelpful. The room was extremely unhygienic with dust everywhere, filthy bathroom fixtures, torn towels, and even a used condom in the trash. I also saw bedbug marks on the bed, which was unacceptable. Due to these awful conditions, I left immediately and did not stay. I'm very upset that Agoda allowed such a poorly kept hotel to be listed without proper checks. This experience completely ruined my expectations for the stay. I would not suggest this hotel or booking through Agoda until hygiene and service improve.

Please don’t rely on pictures showing on google maps.They are vert oldAnd zero maintained property..Rather book guest house..

Don't trust the pictures on Google Maps as they are very outdated and the property is not maintained at all. It's better to book a guest house instead.
