Rooms are very old, colour chipping off and the managing staff are horrible people, might scam you and not pick your call even after calling 50 times. Don't spend your hard earned money on this pathetic hotel and their scamming owners and staff

Our booking at The Mansion Resort & Spa, Panchgani was an absolute nightmare from the moment we checked in.We checked in around 5:45 PM and were shocked by the condition of the room. The room was clearly unhygienic — there were stains on the curtains, dirty mirrors and hair strands around the room. This was not a minor issue or something that could simply be overlooked. After travelling and arriving at the property, the last thing you expect is to walk into a room that looks poorly cleaned and unhygienic.We immediately raised our concerns with the staff and requested that the room be properly cleaned or that we be given another room. Unfortunately, the response we received was extremely disappointing. Instead of taking ownership of the problem and making a genuine effort to resolve it, the staff were unhelpful, dismissive and showed very little concern for the fact that we had just arrived and were being forced to deal with these issues.At that point, we simply could not justify staying there. We had to leave the property and find another hotel at the last minute, completely disrupting our plans and causing additional inconvenience and expense.What made the experience even worse was the way the matter was handled afterwards. Rather than receiving a straightforward resolution from the property, we had to involve Agoda and repeatedly follow up regarding the refund. Agoda initially offered only 20% compensation on the booking amount, and we had to provide documentation and go through multiple rounds of follow-up regarding the alternative accommodation before the matter could be properly addressed.A hotel can have an occasional issue, but the condition of the room, the lack of urgency from the staff, the poor attitude when legitimate concerns were raised, and the fact that guests had to leave and arrange alternative accommodation themselves are simply unacceptable.The property may look good in photographs, but our actual experience was appalling. I would strongly advise anyone considering this resort to think twice before booking.We paid to stay at a resort and ended up having to find another hotel at the last minute. The way the situation was handled by the staff was just as disappointing as the room itself. Absolutely would not stay here again.
