The Mayfield Beach Resort & Spa, Baga Goa

I stayed at The Mayfield Beach Resort, Baga, and unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing.The room was dirty, unhygienic, and had a strong foul smell. At check-in, we specifically requested a room with a clean washroom, but the first room shown to us had an extremely filthy toilet that had clearly not been cleaned. It was completely unacceptable.The room we were eventually given was also poorly maintained. The washroom commode was dirty, there was no proper hot water supply, and the balcony floor was sticky and unclean. The overall cleanliness and hygiene standards were extremely poor and the floor too was very stickyThe coffee served at the property was overpriced and tasted terrible. To make matters worse, the walls were decorated with paintings of mummies and pharaohs, which created a spooky and uncomfortable atmosphere rather than a relaxing one and we even got very scary dreams.The staff’s behaviour was also disappointing. They repeatedly reminded us to check out well before the checkout process was due, which felt rude and unprofessional instead of being courteous to guests.Overall, the resort looked nothing like the pictures advertised. My stay was highly disappointing, and I would not recommend this property to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and pleasant stay.

I stayed at The Mayfield Beach Resort in Baga, and sadly, my experience was very unsatisfactory. The room was dirty, unhygienic, and had a strong unpleasant odor. When we checked in, we asked specifically for a room with a clean bathroom, but the first room shown had a filthy toilet that was clearly not cleaned, which was unacceptable. The room we finally received was also poorly kept. The bathroom toilet was dirty, there was no reliable hot water, and the balcony floor was sticky and unclean. Overall, the cleanliness and hygiene were very poor, and the floor was sticky as well. The coffee served was expensive and tasted bad. Additionally, the walls were decorated with paintings of mummies and pharaohs, creating a creepy and uncomfortable vibe rather than a relaxing one, and we even had scary dreams. The staff's behavior was disappointing too; they kept reminding us to check out well before the time, which felt rude and unprofessional instead of polite. Overall, the resort did not match the advertised pictures. My stay was very disappointing, and I would not suggest this place to anyone seeking a clean, comfortable, and pleasant stay.

We went there as a group and booked 2 rooms. The experience was just about ok, there a few things which can be improved such as cleanness, facilities in terms of the things in the room. One of the rooms had light flickering issues, the other one had lock issue on the bathroom. Overall if all the facilities can be improved it will be a descent place to stay over. Please check the rooms in person before to book one. Thanks
