The Westin Sohna Resort & Spa

Our stay at The Westin Sohna Resort & Spa was very disappointing in terms of hospitality. The service did not meet the standards we anticipated from a premium brand like Westin. The staff were not responsive, and the way guests were handled was unsatisfactory, failing to live up to the brand's reputation or the price paid. A luxury resort stay is about more than just the facilities; it’s about the treatment of guests. Sadly, our experience did not meet these expectations. The management needs to seriously work on enhancing service quality, staff responsiveness, and the overall guest experience.

This is a place you'd want to visit repeatedly. The property is stunning, filled with the sounds of birds from every direction. Walking around feels like being in a forest, with lush greenery and well-kept, beautiful villas. There are activities suitable for all ages. Yet, the standout feature is the hotel staff, who are incredibly generous, kind, warm, and helpful. Special thanks to Ranjana from the F&B team at the Red Bricks restaurant, who made our stay significantly more memorable. Everything was excellent. Perhaps adding more lighting at night would be beneficial, as it became quite dark to walk around.

Our stay at Westin, Sohna was genuinely wonderful and unforgettable. The hospitality stood out, with the entire team being very warm, courteous, helpful, and inviting. From the start, we felt so at ease that it didn’t feel like a hotel stay but more like being cared for by family. ❤️ A heartfelt thanks to Chef Gaurav Singh, who went the extra mile to accommodate my son’s gluten allergy. He made sure my son's meals were safe and appropriate, caring for him as if he were his own child. This sincere care deeply moved us. Alongside Chef Gaurav Singh, Chef Santosh Kumar and Chef Saurabh Thakur were also very kind, supportive, and understanding. They attentively listened to our needs, ensured everything was managed well, and treated us with great warmth. They even offered complimentary food, which was a very kind and thoughtful act.

We've only been once, but it's obvious this is a spot we'll visit every season and for many reasons. Here's what we've experienced so far and what we think it will become: Summers The baby pool was fantastic — very clean, towels available, and the lifeguard was extremely helpful. It was our baby's first time in a pool and it went perfectly. The kids' play area was a wonderful surprise, filled with tons of activities for infants. You could easily spend a whole day there to escape the heat. Plus, there were many birds to see, including peacocks! A note for summer and rainy seasons: it gets too hot to stay long at the zoo, and since the grounds are very green, bugs appear — so be prepared. Winters With the zoo, horse riding, go-karting, gardens to walk through, and biking around the property, I can already imagine how enjoyable this place will be in winter — I look forward to returning! All Seasons The hospitality is amazing, everyone has a great attitude, the food is incredible, and the service truly feels 5-star. We visited in August for our anniversary, and the staff was extremely welcoming — going out of their way to make our meals and stay enjoyable. They decorated a table for our anniversary dinner and even brought dessert during breakfast. They also took excellent care of our 7-month-old, keeping him entertained — he loved all the attention! They even sent us home with treats to remind us of the great time we had. Special thanks to Harsh, Anita, Ranjana, and the whole team — we know them by their first names now, and over our three days there they really felt like family. The rooms have some stains but as a former pet owner, I kind of expect that from a pet-friendly place. Highly recommend!
