The Windflower Resort and Spa, Mysore

Very nice place with calm neighbourhood. We stayed here for 1 night and experience was very good. Property is albeit old but very well maintained. Rooms are spacious and service is best in class. Despite of being resort style property, housekeeping staff is very prompt and courteous. Looks like management is taking good care of them. Food is also great, few more options could have enhance experience. Swimming Pool is something they need to work on otherwise everything is good. Ample parking, proximity to palace, chamundi hills are plus points and warm hospitality make its different.

We stayed for 2 nights and 3 days at The Windflower Resort & Spa.First, the basics.The Location is at the Chamundi Hills, not far from the city. But you can hear the birds AND no traffic. What a luxury. The rooms are huge and well maintained. The resort is meaningfully designed with the accomodations spaced away from restaurants and the foliage in the property is diverse. Now, the exceptional - The staff. Everyone at housekeeping, reception and restaurant staff and chefs went out of their way for us. Thank you if you are reading this. The food is exceptional as well. There are pet ducks and parrots that are not confined and the ducks were free in a water moat built around the cafes. Plenty for kids activities to play and explore.I stay away from writing reviews but this place is exceptional. Must recommend, esp for families with young kids.Renu

We stayed at the Windflower resort in Mysore for 2 nights. I was a bit concerned as I had seen some reviews that the upkeep is not so good lately and about service. But I must say I was relieved and v pleasantly surprised. The staff (2 ladies) at the reception and all the other staff like housekeeping and the restaurant staff were all very warm and attentive.The property has aged a bit but still looks gorgeous. The location is great - just a stone throw away from major attractions like Karanji lake and Chamundi hills. The town is also v close by and yet, once we enter this property, it’s very tranquil and we wake up to the birds in the morning, surrounded by greenery and the Chamundi hill views.The main restaurant setting is beautiful and the food continues to be v good too.We definitely missed the chess pieces this time. Please bring them back :-). Also felt the room floors can be mopped a bit more ?We have visited this property several times and there’s something cozy and warm about it. The rooms are beautiful too - well decorated and spacious.This is definitely our favorite go-to place in Mysore and look forward to staying there again !!

We booked Windflower for our family getaway for 4N and absolutely fell in love with the property and the people. The property is 30 years old but felt brand new and the staff are the most hospitable bunch. It was stress free and the food was delectable. Special mention to Adhira, Chaitra, Prasad, Fathima, Kavya, Balu, Sidhraju, Sowjanya, Srini, and Rosey the parrot. The whole experience was out of this world. Highly recommended for a family getaway.

Amazing place, amazing staff. It is really great place to go, especially with children. We got great value for great price. Also special big thanks to Athira and Mahadev. They were extremely helpful and sooo nice. They were the best staff I met throughout my whole stay in India. But also in general, the whole staff was nice, helpful and they always had a smile on their faces. Hotel looked also great! Fantastic, thanks!!! We loved it
