Valley View Resort

Our experience of stay there for two days on april 11 &12 were totally unsatisfactory. No proper access to our rooms which is on back side of main building. The foot path available was untidy and without proper lights. The toilet attached to rooms were also not properly maintained. The closet seats were revolving with loose clamps.No proper restaurant available. The lobby, reception, restaurant are all accommodated in a limited space on an uncomfortable way. Food menu was also very limited. Totally very uncomfortable stay.

Hotel is good but only thing that I don't like there is that they don't have driver's room. Also how can it will b a complete hotel..

Worst Experience! Never ever book this hotel. It's terrible... - Their site is misguiding though the property is having 3 cottages but it's their wish which cottage they will give you during check-in. I got 3rd cottage which they give to drivers and their staff for a stay after paying a huge amount for 2 rooms for 2 nights. I decided not to check in but the staff ensured that they will change my room in 2 hrs. Instead of 2 rooms, we occupied only 1 with the hope that our room will be changed, but sorry to say they enjoy watching tourists in such conditions, I think it gives them peace of mind... After realizing the entire situation I decided to stay for only 1 day that too occupying only 1 room due to security concerns as we felt the behavior of staff was a little strange and insecure, also noone else was staying in that building were they provided us room except their own staff on the ground floor. - We ended up adjusting in a single room sleeping on the floor with my 5-year kid and elderly parents. -Outside, it was heavily raining, and throughout the night, rain started coming into the room from the seal. It was horrible as we could not do anything about it. -At night, generators won't start if there is no light, so we were in a rainy room without light the entire night. Furthermore, no one answered incoming calls as the reception was empty. -Unprofessional Staff and helpless guests are what Valley View Resort Pahalgam offers. -It is worst than a 3rd graded lodge... -Worst Staff Worst Rooms And Worst experience. They don't even deserve 1 star! -Am attaching some photos of water coming from roof and how we kept the bucket to protect ourselves. -Please be careful and vigilant before choosing this property.

Nice resort and the best room is the one with dining room attached to it which is private. This room is present in the right block and is very good. The location is very good. And the lawn is also very big. Big Parking area and good security.
