I stay on lots of hotels but I never had this kind of experience.This hotel is horrible for all aspects, survice are very poor, they can’t even provide one spoon and glass. I booked two rooms with breakfast, when I asked for it they said no staff available so they can’t provide the breakfast and also not provide hot water because geyser is not working. I feel that I wasted my money on booking that hotel.
What I Enjoyed:1. The provided room was very airy, with two large windows that kept the room cool and well-ventilated.2. The room also had a mountain view. To clarify, it wasn’t a direct balcony view or a view from the window itself. The room was located on the rooftop, so guests share the rooftop space with other rooms. From there, you get a pleasant mountain view, which was quite nice.What I Did Not Enjoy:1. Wi-Fi was listed as a basic amenity, but it was not actually available. Although the staff said it would be activated later, the router never became active during my stay.2. The room service line was not working. They also provided an à la carte menu, but informed us that the cook had left temporarily, so food service was unavailable.3. They charged an additional 50 per person as per a government notice. I have no issue paying this fee, but it would be better if all charges were included or clearly mentioned before booking. I stayed at another hotel in Sikkim two days earlier, and they did not charge this fee separately.4. The location is downhill. Because of this, I would not recommend it for travelers with elderly family members, as reaching the property may be inconvenient.5. The prices felt somewhat high. This might be because I booked very close to the travel date, but for other travelers, it would be wise to compare and justify the price before booking.
Room service was not available, and even bathroom water supply was not available properly, which caused major inconvenience during the stay. At check-in they first allotted the wrong room and I had to request a change.There was also no welcome drink or proper hospitality on arrival.The only positive part of the stay was one staff member — Susmita Tamag — her behaviour was polite and helpful. Apart from her, the overall service and management need serious improvement.
