Every service provided is excellent

My experience was very disappointing. The room was not cleaned well, with dust all over due to inadequate housekeeping. The bedsheets and pillowcases seemed unchanged, which was unhygienic. Basic cleanliness was missing. I wouldn't suggest this hotel until their housekeeping improves. I was also unhappy with how the staff treated me. It seemed guests were treated differently based on looks, with those appearing more "executive" or lighter-skinned getting better service, while others felt excluded. This left a bad impression. On the first day, the room given to me was clearly not cleaned properly. The hygiene standards were poor, and even pillow covers and bedsheets were not changed. The next day, I came back after 10 PM. I had called the restaurant beforehand and was told the buffet stayed open until 11 PM. But when I arrived around 10:50 PM, the staff were closing and would not let me in, despite what they told me on the phone. Overall, the poor housekeeping, mixed messages, and treatment made my stay very disappointing. I expected better service and professionalism from the hotel.

I stayed at Vivanta Jamshedpur twice within a few days and noticed a clear difference between the two visits. The first stay was outstanding, matching the high standards I expect from an IHCL property. From a warm and smooth check-in to quick room service, spotless housekeeping, and accommodating late-night requests for my child, the staff truly went the extra mile. The breakfast service was a standout, with Vishnu, Amitya, and the team providing attentive and heartfelt care that made each morning special. However, during my second stay just two days later, the experience was not as good. Check-in was less welcoming and efficient, room service was slower, and housekeeping lacked the earlier attention to detail. This inconsistency was disappointing compared to my first visit. Still, the breakfast team maintained their excellent service, making mornings the highlight again. As someone who values consistent hospitality, I hope management addresses these service differences. Vivanta and IHCL have a strong reputation for memorable guest experiences, and I trust the team can maintain those standards every time. Overall, I appreciate the breakfast team's efforts and look forward to the same high quality across all services on my next stay.
