My best friend son's 1st birthday Party was hosted here and it was truly unforgettable!Hands down the best birthday party experience we've had ’ all thanks to the wonderful team at Hotel Jiva. The staff went above and beyond to make sure every detail was perfect.From decorations to food to timing, everything was managed flawlessly. I had booked Jiva Hotel for my daughter’s engagement and paid an advance . Unfortunately, due to my wife’s surgery, we had no option but to postpone the wedding. We approached the hotel requesting either a refund or an adjustment of the booking amount, but our request was not considered.What disappointed me even more was the way we were treated. I was repeatedly asked to visit the hotel on different dates with the assurance that the matter would be resolved. Every time I visited, I was made to wait for long hours, but no one came to meet me or provide any solution. This caused unnecessary harassment, repeated travel, and additional expenses.The General Manager, Mr. Subrat Mishra, also assured me that a solution would be worked out. However, after making us wait and repeatedly asking us to visit, he ultimately denied any relief. Had we been informed clearly at the beginning that nothing could be done, we would not have wasted so much time, money, and effort.I understand that businesses may have policies, but customers also deserve honesty, transparency, and respect. Giving false hope and repeatedly calling customers only to refuse assistance later is extremely unprofessional. My family had already been going through a difficult time because of my wife’s surgery, and this experience only added to our stress. I hope the management improves its customer service and handles genuine emergencies with greater compassion and integrity.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Jiva Hotel. We had booked the venue for our engagement and paid an advance. Unfortunately, due to my mother’s brain tumor surgery, our wedding had to be postponed’something that was completely beyond our control.Despite explaining the medical emergency and requesting either a refund or an adjustment of the booking amount to a future date, the hotel refused to cooperate and did not refund the advance. This lack of empathy and customer support during a genuine family crisis was very disheartening.When customers face unavoidable medical emergencies, businesses should show compassion and professionalism instead of adopting a rigid approach. I expected much better service and understanding from a reputed hotel.Based on my experience, I would advise others to carefully review the hotel’s cancellation and refund policies before making any advance payment. My experience has left me deeply disappointed.
