Vythiri Mist Resort

A beautifully located resort set amidst lush greenery. We stayed here over a weekend and booked the Presidential Suite.The room itself was spacious and clean, which was definitely a positive. However, there was no intercom in the room, which was quite inconvenient as we had to call the reception from our phones for every request.Since the resort promotes itself as an Ayurvedic spa resort, we were particularly looking forward to the spa experience. Unfortunately, the spa was under renovation during our stay. A temporary space had been set up instead, which felt more like a makeshift arrangement and was cluttered with various items. It came across as unhygienic and quite disappointing. It would have been helpful if this had been communicated to guests in advance.The most frustrating part of the stay was the constant construction noise. Work began as early as 7 a.m. and continued through the day, and the loud sounds significantly disrupted what was meant to be a relaxing getaway.The food was average and, at times, only just palatable.On the positive side, the staff were courteous, warm, and welcoming throughout our stay. The location itself is undeniably beautiful. With better communication, improved facilities, and a more guest-focused experience, the resort has the potential to offer a much more enjoyable stay.

A serene and peaceful getaway from the city life hustle. Service is really great and so are the well maintained rooms. Food options are good for ?? la carte, although, they can get more options for the buffet. All in all, a wonderful experience

This place was a perfect pick for our 3-day vacation. It feels like home, surrounded by nature's beauty. The ambiance is great, and the food is fantastic, especially the Kerala cuisine. Their grilled chicken salad is a healthy highlight. ASWATHY and VISMAYA VINOD's kindness and service were outstanding. We'll be back for sure.’’

It never felt mechanical; it felt heartfelt.We had a few personal requests during our stay, and each one was handled promptly and gracefully, without the slightest hesitation. Their collective effort truly elevated our entire experience.The rooms were spotless, comfortable, and well-maintained. I visited the resort on a weekday in February, during a less crowded period. Even at that time, the staff treated us very politely and took good care of us throughout our stay. The personality and behavior of the staff were excellent, and both the reception and restaurant teams were courteous and well-mannered.The resort truly feels like it is located inside a forest. At the time of entry, you need to travel around 600 meters off-road through the forest to reach the property. The resort is mainly set within a coffee plantation, and they have maintained the trees well to create a cool climate and a pleasant ambiance. The buildings and individual cottages are well maintained and offer good facilities, including a swimming pool, play area, and kids’ play area.The food was decent’not outstanding, but satisfactory for me. The restaurant staff were polite and served us well. However, I felt the tea could be improved.Activities such as the nature walk need a bit more professionalism. There should be a proper explanation beforehand about the route, as the walk goes through the forest and passes a private property with a steep mountain, giving a small trekking experience.Overall, the stay was very pleasant, relaxing, and comfortable at Vythiri Mist Resort.
