Flora Vythiri Resort

I spent a day at Flora Vythiri Resort and had a great time. The staff's outstanding hospitality really impressed me. They were warm, approachable, and eager to assist, which enhanced our visit significantly. The rooms were tidy and cozy, and the resort's ambiance was calm and soothing. I genuinely appreciated every part of my stay.

Definitely worth it. Atmosphere A stunning resort nestled in the rainforest. The journey to the property itself is part of the charm, with a scenic drive through lush greenery. The resort offers a tranquil, secluded environment perfect for truly unwinding. Highlights * Large rooms with cozy interiors. * Rooms overlooking the pool provide beautiful views of the pool and nearby tea plantations. * A good restaurant serving consistently tasty food. * Friendly, polite, and genuinely welcoming staff. * Facilities include a tennis court, bonfire spot, rooftop play area with table tennis and board games, and a creek just a short, scenic downhill walk away. Avoid The spa, at least in its current state. Important to know We had an excellent stay overall and really enjoyed the property. One aspect that fell short was the spa. It seems to be set up in what used to be a guest room, with separate sections for men and women. Although the prices suggest a high-end spa, the massage experience did not reflect that. I chose a back and shoulder massage, but the pressure, technique, and overall delivery did not seem to be from professionally trained therapists. Unless the spa is upgraded with a dedicated space and certified staff, I would skip it next time. Another letdown was the morning nature walk. We had informed the resort beforehand about joining the 7 a.m. bird-watching walk and even called at 6:50 a.m. to confirm we'd be downstairs shortly. Upon arrival, we were told the naturalist had an emergency and wouldn't be there, and a security guard could guide us instead. My wife and I decided to explore on our own. Emergencies are understandable, but it was disappointing that we weren't informed earlier during our call or offered alternatives like an evening walk. It felt like a missed chance to salvage the experience and avoid an early wake-up on vacation. Value Very good. The rooms, location, food, and hospitality make this an easy recommendation. Ideal for Couples, families, and anyone seeking a peaceful nature escape with beautiful views and excellent food. Conclusion I would gladly return to Flora Vythiri Resort. The property, ambiance, cuisine, and hospitality make it one of the better stays in Wayanad. Just be sure to confirm optional activities beforehand, and I’d avoid the spa unless improvements are made.

From beginning to end, it was an amazing experience. The hotel provides stunning views, immaculate rooms, and excellent service. We really appreciated our time here and look forward to returning.

The chalet reviews are fantastic, but for a room this pricey, I expect the bathroom to be excellent. Other rooms have nice bathrooms, so this was the only problem with the chalet. The hospitality and food are outstanding, and I would definitely stay here again if I visit.

Our family had the best experience staying here for 4 nights and 5 days, enjoying every moment. The staff, led by Mr. Sujit, were very friendly, helpful, and always smiling. The chef prepared dishes according to our requests, and each day we eagerly anticipated the views of the tea estate, nature walks, the swing/slide/play area nestled in the forest, and the infinity pool. Overall, it was an unforgettable experience. We would definitely recommend this place to all friends and family!
