We had a lovely stay in large airy rooms. Pretty gardens lit up with fairy lights. Food was great, especially the breakfast. Well placed to visit nearby attractions - historic Baijnath Temple, Andretta Pottery, Wah Tea Estate, Tashijong Buddhist Monastery. The Manager was so obliging - he insisted on coming to the nearby train station to help us buy tickets to ride on the scenic Kangra Valley Railway. Thankyou.

We had a great overall experience at the property. Mr Sangeet at reception made our stay a 5* experience. He was very humble and catered to all our need with attention. Staff was cooperative and food was good. Everytime i visit nearby i prefer this hotel over any other in places like palampur or bir as this place has a unique vibe to it. Definitely recommended for a peaceful and calm stay.

The hotel is in a very bad shape. A heritage property but very low maintenance. There is no proper staff to handle the operations. The restaurant staff are not qualified enough to serve the guest. There are many hotels in the vicinity that charge as per the location, Taragarh charges you a bomb for providing absolutely nothing. Big rooms, bigger lawns but maintenance and hospitality next to none.Very very ill experience. Highly not recommended.
