Couple • India • Sep 2026I have stayed at the Welcome Hotel in Coimbatore and I really like that one. I was staying in room 1709 and frankly the air conditioning was not working. It was locked at 25.5 degree Celsius. I complained to reception the next morning. I was awake since 4 am. I told them that, due to my work getting extended, I will have to stay for 1 more night and instead of checking out that day I can stay and additional night but need a better room with function ac. If he could give me a better rate due to the air conditioning issue, but he flatly refused.Instead, when the air conditioning is not working well, the least he could do is compensate the customer by giving a better price for his extended stay and that too I was asking for an extension of 1 day at a lesser price. It's strange: either they should keep the AC working in good condition or at least compensate the customer by offering a better package for his extended stay. Won't stay here again ever!
