The Indian Railways is planning to start the country’s third private train very soon.
The new Tejas Express will run between Indore and Varanasi.
Operated completely by the Indian Rail Catering and Tourism (IRCTC), the Indore-Varanasi Tejas Express will run three days a week.
The Indore-Varanasi Tejas Express will be the first Tejas Express that will run overnight. The train is expected to begin operations this month. In a statement, Railway Board Chairman V.K. Yadav said that the overnight train will have the same rakes as those of the Humsafar Express trains.
