Good news passengers! Other than food on train seats, IRCTC is now offering mouth-watering food options on railways stations as well.

Here are the different meal options by IRCTC:


Tea: You can have tea at Rs 5 at the stations as well as on trains. Although tea with tea bags is priced at Rs 7 and tea in pots is available at Rs 10 (both at stations and on trains).

Coffee: Coffee is available at Rs.7 at stations and on trains.

Janta meal: Now just pay Rs 15 for a plate of 7 pooris with dry potato and pickles at all stations. Same meal is available at Rs 20 on trains.

Water: Rail Neer water is available for Rs 15/litre on stations as well on trains.

Casserole meals: Now you can have rice pulao or jeera rice or plain rice, 2 parathas (or 4 chapatis) or 5 puris, dal or sambar, curry with 2 eggs, curd, pickle and packaged drinking water for Rs 50 at all stations and for Rs 55 on trains.

 

Vegetarian breakfast: For bread butter and cutlet pay Rs 25 at stations and Rs 30 on trains.

Non-Vegetarian breakfast: For bread, butter and omelette pay Rs 30 at stations and Rs 35 on trains.

South Indian delight: At stations Upma-vada is available for Rs 25 while on trains the price is Rs 30. Similarly, Idli-vada is available for Rs 25 at stations and Rs 30 on trains. You can also opt for Pongal and Vada which are available for Rs 25 at stations and Rs 30 on trains.

Now, standard thali meals (non vegetarian) are available for Rs 40 and standard thali meals (vegetarian) are available for Rs 35 at stations and on trains.
