Latest Railway Updates: More number of stoppages, additional inter-state trains and more!

Here are some of the important railway updates:

 East Coast Railways to run 3 pairs of additional inter-state trains

3 more pairs of additional inter-state trains will run from and through the East Coast Railways
from 12th September 2020. A total of 8 pairs of additional inter-state trains are notified. IRCTC COVID Special Trains will run through Ahmedabad, Okha and Gandhidham from Khurda Road.

 2. Special trains to have more stoppages

In order to serve more passengers, special trains will stop at more stations. Railways has decided to restore some stoppages and provide additional stoppages W.E.F. 12th September 2020.

Patna-Howrah Jan Shatabdi to run between Patna-Jhajha-Patna for NEET exams 

Due to a complete lockdown in West Bengal on 11-12 September, Patna-Howrah Jan Shatabdi Special was cancelled but keeping in mind the convenience of students appearing in NEET examination held on 13 September, the Ministry of Railways has decided to run this train between Patna-Jhajha-Patna on September 12.
