Railways Cancels and Diverts Several Trains for May

The Indian Railways has announced the cancellation and diversion of several trains for the month of May.

Passengers are advised to take note of the affected train schedules and make necessary arrangements accordingly.

> The South Central Railway has decided to cancel and divert 14 trains due to a traffic block at Kharagpur Railway Station. The changes in the train schedules will stay in effect from 20th to 24th May. Here’s the list of affected trains –

> Due to safety-related modernisation work at the Kharagpur Station, the East Coast Railway has also cancelled the following trains –

Train no. 12704 Secunderabad–Howrah Falaknuma Express commencing journey on 21st May.

Train no. 12703 Howrah–Secunderabad Falaknuma Express commencing journey on 22nd May.

Please note that these trains were previously only partially cancelled, as mentioned in the above tweet, but are now fully cancelled.

> Due to the maintenance work at Ettumanoor, Kottayam and Chingavanam stations, the South Western Railway has cancelled the following trains –

Train No. 16526 KSR Bengaluru–Kanyakumari Daily Express will be cancelled from 23rd to 27th May.

Train No. 16525 Kanyakumari–KSR Bengaluru Daily Express will be cancelled from 24th to 28th May. 

Note: These trains will follow diverted routes on 20th and 21st May.
