Railways to start 19 pairs of trains for the passengers; Extension of 11 pairs of special trains & more!

With the continuous increase in the numbers of passengers, Indian Railways has announced many special trains and extended several services to various destinations across India.

Here are some of the major updates: 

1. Western Railways has decided to run train no. 09260/09259, Bhavnagar-Kochuveli weekly special train from April 13. Train no. 09260 will leave at 10:05 am on every Tuesday from Bhavnagar and reach Kochuveli on the 3rd day at 04:00 in the morning. Train no. 09259, Kochuveli-Bhavnagar train will start from April 15. Bookings will start from April 3, 2021.

For the convenience of railway passengers, train no. 06163/06164 Garib Rath special will run between Lokmanya Tilak Terminus and Kochuveli. Some major halt stations include Thane, Panvel, Ratnagiri, Madgaon, Karwar, etc.

3. To fulfill the requirements of passengers during this festival season, Western Railways has decided to extend the run of 11 pairs of special trains & one other pair passing through various stations of Western Railway.

All of these trains will run as fully reserved trains on special fare. Travellers can book on ixigo and avail special offers.

4. Railways will begin 19 pairs of special trains from April 10 to facilitate passengers. The first train will run between Udaipur city and Shalimar. This superfast train will leave Udaipur at 01:00 in the night and reach Shalimar the next day at 09:30 in the morning.

5. The run of train no. 02939/02940, Pune-Jaipur festival special, has been extended by Central Railways. Train no. 02939 has extended from 04.04.2021 to 30.04.2021 whereas train no. 02940 has been extended from 03.04.21 to  29.06.2021. Bookings are now open!
