Singapore to Ease Travel Rules from April 1

Good news for flyers!

Singapore is all set to relax its travel restrictions. Starting April 1, 2022, fully-vaccinated adults and non-fully-vaccinated children (aged 12 and below) will be allowed to travel to Singapore without quarantine. They no longer have to opt for Vaccinated Travel Lane (VTL) flights.

Passengers will just have to take a pre-departure PCR test or an Antigen test within two days of departure. The antigen test should be either professionally administered, or be a self-administered antigen test remotely supervised by an approved ART provider in Singapore.

Apart from taking the pre-departure test, the non-fully-vaccinated travellers (aged 13 and above) will have to serve a 7-day Stay Home Notice (SHN) upon arrival in Singapore. They will also be required to take a PCR test at the end of the SHN period.

However, unless medically exempt from COVID-19 vaccination, non-fully-vaccinated travellers won’t be allowed to any vaccination-differentiated settings (e.g., attendance at large-scale events, dining restrictions).
