World’s longest sea bridge opens today in China

An engineering marvel and a political feat, world’s longest sea bridge in China was inaugurated by the Chinese President Xi Jinping this morning.

Spanning 34 miles, this bridge links Hong Kong, Macau and the mainland.

It is made from over 400,000 tons of steel and consists of an underwater tunnel, two artificial islands and 14-miles of oversea bridge.

This multibillion-dollar bridge is expected to cut travel time and boost business tremendously.
