What to Expect?

Marking its glory since 1992, the Taj Mahotsav reveals the artistic brilliance of around 400 artisans from all over the world.

1. Art and craft fanatics can add wood carvings from Saharanpur, brass and metal ware from Moradabad and the pottery from Khurja to their collection. You can also pick chikankari fabrics from Lucknow, handmade carpets of Bhadohi, paper & mash work from South India, the silk of Banaras and much more at this fest.

2. Taj Mahotsav is a haven for foodies! Taste authentic dishes from different states of India. Treat your taste buds with Amritsari Naan, Hyderabadi Biryani, Lucknowi Kebab, Gulab Jamun, etc.

3. If you are travelling with family, there is something for everyone. For kids, the biggest attraction is the funfair that includes rides like ferris wheel, roller coaster, merry-go-round, etc.

4. Apart from the stalls and exhibits, Taj Mahotsav displays the cultural vibrancy through some renowned musicians and artists. Folk music, classical dance forms and much more brings together the entire nation to witness something extraordinary.

By Air: Kheria Airport is around 13 km from the city of Agra and has commercial flights from Delhi. International travellers can reach Delhi and take travel further to Agra.

By Train: Agra has 5 railway stations — Agra Fort Railway Station, Agra Cantt Station, Raja ki Mandi, Idgah Railway Station and Agra City. Agra Cantt is the best option for Taj Mahotsav.

By Bus: ISBT is situated around 12 km from Taj Mahal and Idgah Bus Stand is around 8 km. There are regular bus services from cities like Delhi, Jaipur, Gwalior, Kanpur and Lucknow.
