Airport rules update: Gujarat, Punjab, Bihar, and Karnataka

Indian airlines SpiceJet, Vistara, and GoFirst have issued new updates informing passengers about a change in travel rules for various destinations in Gujarat, Punjab, Bihar and Karnataka.

While SpiceJet has notified about the new travel rules applicable for Gujarat and Punjab airports, GoFirst and Vistara have shared information regarding the new travel rules for Bihar and Karnataka airports respectively.

> Gujarat 

As per the latest update, passengers flying to Ahmedabad, Rajkot, and Kandla are no longer required to present their negative RT-PCR report upon arrival.

> Punjab 

SpiceJet Airlines recently shared a post regarding new airport rules for Punjab on Twitter. As per the update, all the passengers travelling to Punjab are no longer required to carry a negative RT-PCR test report or a vaccination certificate upon arrival.

> Bihar

If you are travelling from Delhi-NCR, Punjab, Maharashtra, or Kerala to the city of Darbhanga, then you need to carry a negative RT-PCR certificate (Not older than 72 hours) and also undergo 10-day home quarantine.

Except at Darbhanga Airport, all the passengers entering the state from any part of the country don’t need to show their negative RT-PCR test report anymore.

> Karnataka 

Vistara updated about the latest rules for entering the state of Karnataka on Twitter. According to the new rule effective since July 3, all the travellers except those from Maharashtra need no negative RT-PCR report. Passengers entering Karnataka from Maharashtra need to carry a negative RT-PCR report with sample collection done within 72 hours of arrival or the 1st dose vaccination certificate.
