Central Railway Recruitment 2022: Apply for 2422 posts NOW

The Central Railways has invited applications for the posts of apprentice. A total of 2422 candidates will be hired in the recruitment process.

The application process started on January 17 and will continue till February 16, 2022.

Eligibility Criteria

Age limit: Candidates applying for this post should be between 15 and 24 years of age as of January 17 2022.

Educational Qualification: The candidate must have passed the class 10 examination or its equivalent (under 10+2 examination system) with minimum 50 percent marks, in aggregate, from a recognised board.

They should also possess a National Trade Certificate in the notified trade issued by the National Council for Vocational Training or Provisional Certificate issued by the National/State Council for Vocational Training.

 

How to Apply

1) Visit the official website of the Central Railways: rrccr.com
2) Click on ‘Click here to Apply Online’ under ‘Online application for Engagement of Apprentices under the Apprentices Act 1961 for the Year 2021-22’
3) You will be directed to a new webpage
4) Click on ‘Click here to Register.’
5) Enter your personal details and register
6) Enter your registration ID and password
7) Click on Login
8) Fill up the application form
9)Upload the required documents
10) Save the details and pay the application fee
11) Submit the form and save it for future reference


Application Fee

An application fee of Rs.100 will be charged as a part of the online application process. This amount is non-refundable. At the time of registration, candidates will be asked to enter their 12-digit Aadhar card number.

Selection Process

The selection of candidates will be on the basis of a merit list that will be prepared on the basis of percentage of marks in matriculation (with minimum 50 percent aggregate marks) and ITI marks in the trade in which apprenticeship is to be done.
