Coronavirus Impact: IRCTC Suspends Bookings for its 3 Private trains till April 30

Railway subsidiary IRCTC, which operates three private trains in the country, has decided to suspend their services till April 30.

The three premium, private passenger trains operated by IRCTC are the Lucknow-New Delhi Tejas Express, the Ahmedabad-Mumbai Tejas Express and the Kashi Mahakal Express, that connects Varanasi and Indore.


The decision to not run the trains till April 30 has been taken owing to the rapidly increasing cases of coronavirus in the country. Earlier, ticket booking for these trains was allowed for travel after the lockdown period.

All passengers who had booked tickets for the train journey between April 15 and April 30 will receive a full refund.
