To combat COVID-19 outbreak, Indian states have issued individual quarantine rules.

Let’s check out the quarantine rules for 10 most affected states:

Maharashtra

> Hand stamped with 14-day home isolation
> Passengers coming for a short duration will be exempted from quarantine if they submit return tickets.

Tamil Nadu

> Passengers arriving by flights from Delhi, Maharashtra and Gujarat will be tested for COVID-19 with mandatory institutional quarantine for 7 days
> Business travellers who plan to return in 48 hours will be exempted from quarantine
> 14 days home quarantine for those entering from low-risk states

Delhi

> Home quarantine for asymptomatic passengers for 7 days
> Those with mild symptoms will be given an option between COVID care centres or home quarantine (depending on the case).
>Those with moderate to severe symptoms will be taken to COVID care centres.


Gujarat

> Home quarantine for symptomatic passengers for 14 days


Uttar Pradesh

> Home quarantine for symptomatic passengers for 14 days unless they are staying for less than a week or if they have cleared the coronavirus test earlier
> Travellers who plan to return in less than a week will be exempted from quarantine if they submit return travel details

 Rajasthan

> Home quarantine for 14 days
> Travellers who plan to return in less than a week will be exempted from quarantine ( if, undergone an RT-PCR test (up to 2 days before arrival and are carrying a negative test report) and will be permitted for a return journey

West Bengal

> A 14-day self-quarantine is mandatory for all the travellers reaching West Bengal

Madhya Pradesh

> Symptomatic passengers will have to go for mandatory quarantine at a paid or government facility
> Those who show no symptoms after 7 days will be sent home where they will have to home quarantine for another 7 days

Karnataka

> All incoming travellers have to register on Seva Sindhu Portal
> All symptomatic passengers will be taken to COVID care centres followed by 7 days of home quarantine as per the case
> Visitors from Maharashtra: For asymptomatic passengers: There will be 7 days of institutional quarantine followed by 7 days of home quarantine. They will be tested for COVID-19 if they develop symptoms
> Visitors from Chennai and Delhi will have to undergo 3 days of institutional quarantine and 11 days of home quarantine.


Andhra Pradesh

> Symptomatic passengers will go to institutional quarantine for COVID-19 test on arrival and will be tested again after 7 days. If found negative, they will be released to home quarantine for another 7 days.
