Alcove Beach Resort

We came here for lunch, but I want to warn those planning to book rooms. Don't get too excited by the photos online; the resort is quite old and doesn't look like the pictures shown. However, the food they serve is very tasty.

This has been one of the worst resort stays I've encountered. Don't be fooled by the pictures or ratings; the whole place is still being built, but this isn't made clear when you book. Instead of a peaceful holiday, we faced noise from construction, dust, and an incomplete facility. The breakfast was also a letdown, with poor food quality and a strawberry yogurt shake that smelled off. It felt unhygienic and unacceptable for a resort charging high prices. If you're booking for the beach view, it's not worth it. The view is disappointing, the beach smells bad, and the location doesn't justify the cost. There are much better resorts nearby at similar or lower rates. Although the staff offered us an upgraded room, it smelled bad and had cockroaches, which says a lot about their upkeep. This resort is clearly not ready for guests, with poor cleanliness, maintenance, food, and an unfinished site making it a very frustrating stay. I strongly advise against booking here until construction is finished and they improve hygiene and maintenance. It's definitely not worth the price.

Lovely location in North Goa. The food is good. Vagator beach is just a minute away from the room.

The staff were very bad and the water swing pool was in poor condition, but the security guard was very good 👍👍. Honestly, all the staff were very bad. An uncle sitting at the reception was very rude and they charged for everything. The manager is also a very bad and rude man.

Our stay at Alcove Resort, Vagator was absolutely fantastic and exceeded all our expectations! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with genuine warmth and exceptional hospitality. The resort has a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere while still being close to all the excitement that Vagator has to offer.One of the biggest highlights of our stay was the breakfast. It was simply outstanding every morning, with an excellent variety of fresh, delicious, and beautifully prepared dishes. Everything was flavorful and served with great care. The breakfast service deserves special recognition’the staff was always attentive, friendly, and quick to assist with anything we needed. They constantly ensured the buffet was well-stocked and took the time to make every guest feel welcome. Starting each day with such a wonderful breakfast and such warm service made our stay even more enjoyable.The entire team at the resort deserves heartfelt appreciation. From the front desk and housekeeping staff to the restaurant team and every helper around the property, everyone was incredibly polite, cheerful, and genuinely caring. Their smiles, professionalism, and willingness to go above and beyond created a truly memorable experience and made us feel right at home.The location is another huge advantage. Alcove Resort is perfectly situated near many of Vagator's best attractions, making it easy to explore the area. Some of Goa's most popular clubs and nightlife spots are just a short distance away, so you can enjoy the vibrant nightlife and return to the peaceful comfort of the resort whenever you like.One of the things we loved most was the refreshing sea breeze that flows through the property. Sitting outside in the morning with breakfast or relaxing in the evening while enjoying the cool ocean breeze was incredibly peaceful. The natural surroundings, lush greenery, and calming atmosphere make it the perfect place to unwind and escape from the busy routine.The rooms were spacious, spotless, comfortable, and very well maintained. Every detail reflected the care and dedication of the staff in making guests feel comfortable.Overall, Alcove Resort, Vagator offers the perfect combination of excellent hospitality, amazing food, a prime location, beautiful surroundings, and exceptional service. Whether you're looking for a relaxing holiday, a romantic getaway, or a fun trip with friends to enjoy Goa's famous beaches and nightlife, this resort is an excellent choice.A big thank you to the entire team for making our stay so special.
