The Property is a beautiful Portuguese house, rich with beautiful architecture and heritage. Recommend anyone to book with no hesitation. I will definitely rebook again. Staff is good, the only areas of improvement is the toilet in my room had no hot water , fortunately it is summer and extremely hot so didnt require but would be nice to know we had that option. Secondly the toilet also had a bit of damp smell behind the shower and the flush didnt flush all the way so there was back flow of all urination etc even after flushing it down. It might be the case of my villa alone and since I stayed in 301 I hope this gets fixed for next time when I come back to book. My friend was booked in 108 which faces the private pool but there was family booked alongside her that had a day party in the private pool and her pool was dirty so much so that we didnt feel like swimming there and actually got in only in the public pool. So sadly she paid more hoping to use the private pool but wasnt able to utilize it. Note to all the hotel does not have a restaurant on site but you can still order food from their sister hotel which is next door or close by and they bring the food to your room. We have to say we ordered pasta and noted that it was very tasty so will also try booking next time with their sister hotel Grand leoney who has a restaurant on site with delicious food. A bit of a hit and miss is their parking they have a tiny car park and you have to leave the keys for the staff to maneuver when someone wants to leave as they are parked behind each other but that is fair enough and understandable. Overall I enjoyed the aesthetics of this hotel and with just the right improvements they will be absolutely brilliant and I recommend this place to all. Thanks
Perfect cleanliness. Rooms are bigger than they appear in pics. Well-mannered, Kind and engaging staff. Only sad part, no hotel kitchen and room-service. Not even to get you proper tea and toasts, these are sourced from another hotel kitchen, in case you order. I will certainly return here to stay. Will drop my expectations on any room-service. Night time staff is very less, just if you need cleaning or any support. Overall, a very comfortable and peaceful stay.
