It was a last minute booking for me and it did not dissappoint. The hotel itself is lovely. Clean rooms, wonderful staff and just 15-20mins from the airport at one end and the city center at another. The restaurant is a cherry on top, delicious food.
Stayed at the hotel on 21st and 22nd April 2026, with 4 adults in 3 rooms.Our flight was scheduled for late evening, so we requested a 2–3 hour late check-out for only one of the three rooms, while the other two rooms were to be checked out at the normal time.Unfortunately, the hotel charged the full-day tariff for that one room for just a 2–3 hour extension. We understand that late check-out may attract an additional charge, but charging the entire day’s tariff for only a few extra hours seems excessive.Considering that we had booked 3 rooms, we expected a more reasonable and guest-friendly approach. This was disappointing and affected our overall experience.
We thank Hotel Barsana and resort for providing us such a lovely property at end of our trip.We were soo tired from gangtok - Darjeeling trip. Having stay at Hotel Barsana in Siliguri was totally worth it. Having all the basic amenities, cleanliness in room. Massive Bathroom....peacefull environment.Must stay ....
