Blue Lagoon Resort Goa

This is one of the very worst places you could ever stay at. The location is completely isolated, with the last 2 km being an extremely bad road that makes reaching the property frustrating.The rooms don’t even have AC, despite the photos clearly showing otherwise. They charged an extra *** per night for an “AC room,” but the AC barely worked and didn’t cool at all—total waste of money.There are no nearby restaurants, so you’re stuck with their food, which is honestly terrible. On top of that, there are constant power cuts every hour, and it takes around 15 minutes for power to come back each time.Zero network connectivity, poor infrastructure, misleading information, and horrible overall experience. I genuinely regret not cancelling. Avoid this place at all costs.

First the pros Location is indeed a paradise.Lovely shallow, safe lagoon for neophyte kayakers.Food is wholesome.Service staff is very polite, Mohan is a great server.Nice beach. is within 10 feet of the property.A nice golden retriever Simba comes to greet guests.The Cons:Not elderly friendly.Wheelchairs will not come to the property, no ramp to the beach.Rocky bumpy red earth road is unsuitable for sedans so ground clearance is a matter to consider. Not all rooms are AC so nighttime one can feel the stuffiness in non AC rooms.Bathroom curtains were slipshod in our roomsOnce in the guests are captive as SUV charges to and fro are steep. One has to negotiate about 48 steps to reach the beachside cottages or the dining area.Overall a wonderful holiday for youngsters and fit older people., though not wheelchair or elderly friendly.

I stayed in Blue Lagoon for 3 nights in March 2026, had a top sea view bungalow #19. The location is amazing, the bungalow was very spacious and well-maintained, but when I saw the view it was just breathtaking. I fell in love with the place and extended my stay for one more day. The terrace with the view is very cosy, I did yoga in the morning and enjoyed the fresh air. Even watched the sunset there. The place is calm itself, it is not allowed to play loud music outside, so it was pure solitude.Although the location and views were great, there was one thing that totally ruined my stay: there were rats living in the bungalows and moving freely inside wherever they wanted, including the bed, tables, sink, anywhere. I have seen their droppings/ litter on my towel in the bathroom, on the bedside table, on the terrace, and even on the bed. One night a rat jumped on my bed and woke me up, and of course I couldn’t sleep there afterwards.I don’t mind animals and insects, I understand it’s the jungle and it’s their natural habitat, but still there must be certain hygienic measures taken by the resort management to prevent rats from entering the inside of the bungalows. Rats transmit many dangerous infections and this is a serious hygienic issue.I refused to pay for that night with the rats and the resort discounted it from my bill.Very sad as I loved the place but not coming back there again.

The property have best view, service was great but food options are limited.

The view of this property is amazing, the food was good, the staff was good. Its just little outskirt so we might feel lack of facilities. I would recommend this property for one night experience definitely as this is far from every thing else one day is sufficient to enjoy the exp here
