Spent 2 nights at Chokhiwadi Forest Retreat. The location is lovely, calm, and surrounded by nature. The rooms were nice, clean, and cozy. However, the food was disappointing and not worth the price. I get that being in a forest area can make supply management tough, but the food was overpriced and the quality didn't match the cost. The Italian dishes, like pasta and sandwiches, were bland and poor quality. Breakfast options were very limited, missing even simple items like parathas that are usually available at most hotels. Also, even though our stay was fully paid and we had one more night left, staff asked us to settle the dinner bill the next day, which felt unnecessary and awkward since we would pay all charges at checkout. Overall, the location and rooms are the best parts, but food quality, breakfast variety, pricing, and billing approach need a lot of improvement.
