A very pleasant home run hotel with a very welcoming host who is also a great singer, entertaining us each night. The rooms, particularly the bathroom, could use some improvements. The food was excellent, and I enjoyed my stay.

I would give this place 3 stars instead of the 4-star rating it claims. We booked a week ahead and paid ₹5,000 advance for Room 106, a big family room with two queen beds, a single bed, two bathrooms, and a mini fridge. But a day before arrival, the owner told us the room was given to someone else and asked us to stay in separate rooms for one night. The first floor rooms had no fridge, so we moved to the second floor. One room had a small 1-ton AC, which was not enough for the heat, and the other had a 1.5-ton AC. The single bed was uncomfortable, so three women had to share a queen bed. We later found out the guests in our original room extended their stay. The owner said the separate rooms were pricier and given free, but that wasn’t the issue. We wanted the family room for space and convenience, not separate rooms, regardless of price. Breakfast was good but fully vegetarian. On weekdays, only Poha, tea, and coffee were served; buffet was only on weekends, and eggs cost extra. Poha was tasty and served daily. Lunch and dinner were very spicy and bland. The Surmai Thali fish tasted frozen or stale, which was disappointing. We paid around ₹15,000 for two rooms for five adults including breakfast. Given the cost and room issues, the experience was average. There are better beachside stays in Nagaon, so I suggest checking those out first. Overall, it was an okay stay but not what you'd expect from a 4-star hotel.
