Awesome place with very nice food in South Goa, Palolem.

STAY AWAY FROM COCOS RESORT: A COMPLETE SCAM AND A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! This place is even worse, noisier, and filthier than the busy party spots of Anjuna and Baga in North Goa. You'll waste your money here. Save your peace of mind, avoid the disappointment, and book anywhere else! If you want a calm, soulful trip to Palolem Beach in South Goa, don’t be fooled by the fake photos of this hotel. Booking here is the quickest way to throw your money away. They charge very high prices while falsely claiming "beachfront, peaceful, and serene vibes," but the reality is a dirty, chaotic trap. This place is a shame to South Goa’s hospitality. It feels like a cheap, rusty, low-quality wooden lodge, not a premium beach resort. WORST PART: The noisy late-night bar on site plays loud music until early morning. The whole area is full of drunk and smoking people wandering around, creating a very unsafe and bad atmosphere. Safety is a big concern, especially for solo female travelers or all-women groups. The environment is hostile and uncomfortable. The bar and restaurant blast loud music late into the night, with unruly, intoxicated guests ruining the peaceful vibe South Goa is known for. They charge extremely high prices while advertising a peaceful beachfront spot, but the calm environment is completely missing. It’s a total financial scam targeting tourists seeking a quiet holiday. The rooms are disgusting, dirty, and badly maintained. Tables are dusty, curtains are stained, and the air conditioning doesn’t work, making it very uncomfortable even in humid June weather. The bathrooms are a nightmare, covered in black mold and dirt. The room doors don’t lock properly, risking your hygiene and safety. The staff and management are very rude, arrogant, and dismissive. When you raise these serious problems, they offer no help and treat guests with disrespect.

This property is nicely located right on the beach and features roomy accommodations and bathrooms. We stayed in the seafront chalet, which includes a large outdoor sitting area with uninterrupted sea views, definitely the best part of our visit. However, the shower in the room was disappointing; the overhead shower was non-functional and the handheld shower had very weak water pressure, which was quite inconvenient. The restaurant next to the seafront chalets was also a letdown. The food quality was inconsistent and the service was very slow. Even though we visited during the off-season with few guests, breakfast took an unusually long time to be served. On the plus side, the staff were friendly and polite, and the property offers parking at the back, which is convenient.

The restaurant is managed by a group of young people who are rude and unprofessional. No one seems interested in taking your order, and it takes 90 minutes to prepare a pizza. The waiter explains the menu to everyone. The food was mediocre. The washroom was dirtier than you could imagine. Definitely avoid this place.
